What a very, very delayed post this has been. My apologies, beloved readers. But this is where it gets good, y’all. The final 5 (which are actually 7 because there are two ties that I couldn’t decide between). Also, I’m just going to throw and honourable mention out there to Logan and Veronica from ‘Veronica Mars’. There’s always one that completely slips my mind. Ugh. Anyway, let’s get into it!
05 Willow Rosenberg and Oz/Tara McClay. 
Okay, so that video is really more about their demise as a couple rather than how amazing they were together until season four when Oz fucked everything up, but it’s just got so much angst what with that song from the ‘Cruel Intentions’ soundtrack that I couldn’t resist, you know?
But seriously, I loved and adored Willow and Oz as a couple, they were just too cute, right?!

This is unrelated because this is from ‘Party Monster’, not ‘Buffy’, but still. He’s great.

As much as I loved Willow and Oz, I loved Willow and Tara equally. Their entire storyline fucks with my shit because every time you think everything is okay and they’re going to get their ‘happily ever after,’ something, demonic or otherwise, comes along and fucks everything up, breaking my heart in the process.
With that being said, it did bring about the climax to one of my favourite story-arcs on Buffy, EVIL WILLOW. Bitch is bad ass.
04 Joey Potter and Pacey Witter, ‘Dawson’s Creek’.
Okay, so let’s all take a moment to recognise that whoever wrote One Direction’s ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ was obviously a big ‘Dawson’s Creek’ fan, because that is a song about Joey Potter if ever I heard one. Exhibit A is right above you. Smiling at the ground. Boom. Also here:
Exhibit B is the hair flip, although it’s really more of a hair tuck and if you have ever seen a single episode of Dawson’s Creek you will know that Joey/Katie does a bunch of things all the time. One of them is incessantly tucking her hair behind her ear while she’s mumbling a conversation towards the ground, before BAM, she looks up at Pacey/Dawson/Flavour of the moment with those big brown eyes and all the angst in the world, and they’re smitten.
It’s a shitty example, but you get my point. Pacey wrote ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ for Joey and gave it to One Direction to sing. The only thing that I don’t understand is how more people don’t see it, and also, why there aren’t more videos pointing this out on YouTube for me to choose from. In fact, the only one I found is about Joey and Lucas (Chad Michael Murray), of all people. Like, come on. Who stans for that relationship? I’d forgotten that they were even a thing until about 3 minutes ago. I can’t embed that video but you can watch it here because CMM is a babe.
Okay, now let’s talk about Pacey and Joey and how they’re an amazing couple.
HE BOUGHT HER A WALL, YOU GUYS.
Ugh, I mean, they’re too perfect together. Dawson sucks, he’s the worst character on the show, and he makes Joey insufferable. Dawson and Joey together is a match made in hell and makes me jealous of Helen Keller.
Pacey, on the other hand. Pacey is amazing and brings out the best in Joey by balancing her out and making her a tolerable, and even, dare I say it, FUN?! Character to watch.
I mean, come on:

Okay #4 out on context sounds dodgy as hell, but it’s ‘Dawson’s Creek’. They talk about sex all the time, sure, but dick jokes? Not so much.
But anyway. I ship these guys so much and watching those clips makes me feel like a teenager again. JOEY & PACEY 4-EVA.
03 Buffy Summers and Angel/Spike, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’.
So much better than Bella and Edward, you guys. It’s not even a contest.
Okay, so after Leo in Titanic, David Boreanaz was my next BIG crush. I was 13, he was around 27, I didn’t see a problem with that at the time because I was in LOVE. As it turns out, I’m only in love with Angel, as I found out via Twitter that David Boreanaz can’t spell and that’s an unfortunate deal breaker for me. But Buffy and Angel were my ultimate tweenage obsession. It’s the whole ‘doomed star crossed lovers thing’ that gets me. It got me in ‘Titanic’, it got me in ‘Buffy’, and both have left such profound emotional scars on me that to this day I can’t listen to the score of either without becoming a mess. The Buffy/Angel love theme ‘Close You Eyes’ fucks. My. Shit. Up.
See? It’s not even a great fan video and I’m all teary watching it. How embarrassing for me.
Meanwhile, I’m also alllllll about Spike and Buffy, because dayyyum.
How great is that for a fanvid? I love that song. As for the contents, I mean, okay. So he tried to rape her one time. He didn’t have a soul, you guys. You’d be surprised how often you use your soul when making decisions. AND, after he realised the error of his ways (which is a phrase that no matter how many years it’s been, remains in the voice of Sandy from ‘Daria’ when I think it even though I can no longer recall which episode she even says that in), he went and got a soul. You know how hard that shit is to do?! It’s like, some black market, dangerous shit we’re talking about here. And he did it. For Buffy. Because he loves her. If that’s not romance I don’t know what is.
But really, I love Spuffy not in the epic-doomed-soulmates way that I love Buffy and Angel, but rather, in the good girl gone bad and gettin’ fingerblasted at the Bronze while watching her friends dance the night away on the floor beneath them. It’s a different kind of love, but love, nonetheless. And James Marsters. Dayummmmmm.
02 Jim Halpert and Pam Beesley, ‘The Office’.
This scene rips my heart out every single time I see it, I’m not even kidding. Suddenly I’m wondering why I continue to watch all these shows that just make me cry. Oh, who am I kidding, I cry in everything. I cry watching ‘Dance Moms’ ffs. But really, though. Jim and Pam are so amazing it hurts and can we just talk about this season for a minute? That’s your spoiler warning. Here we go.
What the fuck. I can’t. If they break Jim and Pam up I will seriously never stop crying. I texted my boss (who is also my friend, and also watches ‘The Office’) and told him that if Jim and Pam break up that I will need at least a week off work to recover emotionally from the grief I will suffer. I’m kidding. Kind of. Point is, no. It cannot happen. I will not be okay with this. I have not spent the last 9 years rooting for these guys to throw it all away over Philly and a sound guy. That is not what I’m here for. JIM AND PAM FOREVER!
01 Chandler Bing and Monica Geller, ‘Friends’.
*In Phoebe’s voice* ‘Chandler and Monica! CHANDLER AND MONICA!!!’
I mean, how could it not be?
Okay, so Chandler and Monica make number one because aside from the obvious ‘I love them’, what I love is that once they were together, there was never any real threat of them breaking up (Ahem, ‘The Office’, this is why you lost. YOU TOYED WITH MY EMOTIONS!). Once they were together, that was it, and it was so good. Ugh. I just can’t. They’re too good together.
